British soprano Alysia Hanshaw is praised for her ‘enchanting timbre’ (Opera Magazine) and ‘beautiful high notes’ (ODB Opera). She was a member of the 2023-25 Opera Studio at the Opéra National du Rhin.
Alysia was recently awarded the Audience Prize for her performance in the 14th Concours International de Chant Baroque de Froville. This summer she will appear as an Alvarez Emerging Artist at Garsington Opera, performing the roles of Naiad/Nereid and covering Amore and Minerva in Monteverdi’s Il Ritorno d’Ulisse in Patria.
